Footpath diversion

The above order, made on 16 January 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert Alderbury path no.16 over the land situate at Kyte House, Shute End Road, in the parish of Alderbury, leading from OS Grid Reference SU 1736-2792 in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 70 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 1743-2792, to a new route at OS Grid Reference SU 1736-2792, in a generally, north easterly direction for approximately 74 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 1743-2759, having a width of 2 metres. And thereupon the Salisbury and Wilton Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1953 shall be modified accordingly.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
