Alderbury Parish Council
Alderbury Parish Council is your most local level of democratic government and your first point of contact for community issues.
Alderbury is one of over 10,000 local councils in England and Wales, representing the concerns of local residents and providing services to meet local needs. Parish councils have a wide range of powers including looking after playgrounds, open spaces, community buildings, planning, street lighting, allotments. They also have the power to raise money through council tax.
The Council is made up of 11 locally elected councillors. We hold monthly meetings (excluding August) alongside our Annual Parish meeting. All meetings are open to the public and agendas and minutes are found on the notice boards throughout the village as well as on this website. We would love to see you.
