Alderbury & Whaddon Footpath Group

A designated ‘Alderbury Countryside Circular Walk’ is available to enjoy. It was developed and is still supported by Wiltshire and Alderbury Parish Councils, Longford Estate and the Ramblers Association. It links to the South Wiltshire Footpath Network that includes other local circular walks from West Grimstead, Pitton, Firsdown and Downton. Local footpath maintenance volunteers operate weekly in the key months when areas get overgrown. New volunteers are welcome.
