Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is all about bringing neighbours together to create strong, friendly, active communities. By doing that we create the space where crime and antisocial behaviour are less likely to happen and promote Community Safety.  Our Vision is that of a caring society that is focused on trust and respect in which people are safe from crime and enjoy a good quality of life. Neighbourhood Watch is about making sure that fewer people feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live.

A network of local footpath volunteers operate when called upon, with much effective maintenance and development work achieved over the last year. Occasional short meetings are held to update and plan ahead. New volunteers are welcome. Currently materials and funding are being sought for necessary improvement on a stile and a boardwalk to cover a muddy area. It's hoped following these improvements the "official" Alderbury circular footpath walk will be completed and opened later this year.

Please find a copy of the designated footpaths in Alderbury & Whaddon attached here.
